Varsity boys volleyball plays against Aiea, who they beat 25-13. Sala got an overkill after Blu Kurt served and the other team shanked the pass. Captain Micah Sala (11) said that team members have a very close relationship with each other, and after the loss of Sala’s grandmother (Grandma Bernie), his teammates were there to support him. “I’m serious when it comes to them being family. I love these guys. They are the true definition of a team. It was because we are a family that when one person goes through a horrific event, then we are all there to comfort,” Sala said. “I'd like to thank the team, Coach Christe and Coach Toloumu for being there when a loss in my family occured.
