Travel just up the road from the airport and you should run into a quaint little joint called Big Kahuna’s. This place has a local theme and serves up great Chicago style pies.
I ordered the pizza known as Da California Club. When I took my first bite, I tasted the perfectly cooked chicken and bacon on top of the delicious cheese and crust. However, cutting through the meaty, salty ranch goodness, was the nice, fresh blast of lettuce and tomatoes.
As if the Pizza didn’t sound good enough, the restaurant also includes an assortment of appetizers. For example, one of the choices is the Big Kahuna’s Cheesy Garlic Bread. This starter has soft, warm garlic bread, covered in melted cheese.
Not craving pizza? Big Kahuna’s also has an expansive selection of non- pizza items, such as subs and sandwiches.
Overall, this restaurant packs a delicious punch with all its “pizza n’ stuffs”. the pizza is astounding, the appetizers as flawless, and the non-pizza items certainly seem to be worth the money. Look for this place if you’re looking to have a great meal and some serious fun. It’s located at 550 Paiea St., Honolulu, Hawaii.
