In just a few weeks, people everywhere will be celebrating Halloween. There are many activities to do like dressing up and going trick or treating, carving pumpkins, and watching scary movies. Thinking about Halloween plans this year? Here are three haunted houses coming back this Halloween season:
Dead End is returning this year to bring guests “Annihilation”, a drive-through haunted house at Aloha Stadium. This year it will be back with all new creepy scenes and characters, 6 terrifying interactive scenes, and an outdoor drive-through horror experience never that’s never been experienced before. The haunted drive-through will open on Oct. 6, and will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before Halloween.
Haunted Plantation is returning this year with Chapter 16 of their stories and hauntings by spirits of old Hawaii. This on-foot ride of horror will take place in a real haunted village in Waipahu on Oct. 14-16, 21-23, and 29-31. Viewers will experience intense audio, strobe lights, extremely low visibility, fog or damp conditions, and more! Haunted Plantation was produced by 17a Productions to provide a true scare to people of all ages willing to risk it.
This year, Trial of Fears is bringing Mortimer’s Horror Shop. This haunt attraction is on foot and it includes up to three escape-room-like challenges where you need to free the souls taken by the malevolent Miss Mortimer. Participants may experience sudden noises, fog, strobe lights, jarring actions, dramatic tilting, and sudden motion. This is presented by Waikiki Trolley and will be taking place between Zumiez and Vera Bradley at the Waikele Premium outlets. It opens on Oct. 12 and will be open every Thursday-Sunday, except the 15, and will continue on October 30-31 as well.
