Spanish Club advisor, Nancy Wahineokai, is doing what she can to share a cultural experience with club members.
“Spanish Club is for those students interested in much more than just the language,” Wahineokai said. “We cover music, food, both classic and popular literature, art, and culture.”
Spanish Club takes trips off campus to eat at restaurants and have parties at the beach. “We usually switch up what we do for the club depending on the members,” said Wahineokai. “It changes every year.”
Students interested in the Spanish club do not have to be in any Spanish classes either. Students just need an interest in the Spanish culture.
